York Beer & Cider Festival - Supporting York pubs and Locale breweries
PROVISIONAL DATES FOR 2024 are Wednesday 18 September to Saturday 21 September 2024
Please note some provisional information below and why not reserve the dates in your diary. We expect to serve around 230 beers and 40 ciders plus a range of wine and mead.

Wednesday 18 Preview day:
A bargain when you come early!
Today only there are no session tickets - once in you can stay through as you wish.
Trade preview (by invitation only) 1pm - 3pm
CAMRA members preview 3pm - 5pm
Public preview from 5pm
Thursday 19 - Saturday 21
12pm - 11pm
There will be two sessions per day - afternoon and evening plus a day ticket available. We are not closing between sessions though we will ask afternoon session ticket holders to leave or buy a discounted extension ticket
How to pay on site
Card or contactless payments are our payment method for all areas - bars, food, membership and tombola.

CAMRA members will receive a £2 discount validated by producing membership card at entrance.
2023 Souvenir Goblets were £3 non-refundable. For 2024 we will have souvenir pint glasses.
The cask beer bars will be between the pillars and outside walls of the church with keg and European beers across at the end of the nave.
We'll be removing most of the pews and there will be some seating in the church during the festival. Cider and wine will be in the church for 2024

How to get to the festival: It’s about a 20 minute walk from the rail station and served by buses #10 Stamford Bridge (Stop RL), #67 University (Stop RJ) and 747/X46/47 Pocklington/Hull (Stop RC). Alight south of Walmgate Bar by the Waggon and Horses and cross road by traffic lights. York bus timetables

Volunteering - We will again need help from volunteers in a range of roles for set up, open and takedown. Watch this space for more information .
