How to get there
It is about a 20 minute walk from York railway station and is served by the following buses from the station:
- 10/10A Poppleton to Stamford Bridge (board at stop RL) First Bus
- 67 York Rail Station to York University Sport Village (board at top RJ) First Bus
- 747 York Railway Station to Pocklington (board at stop RC) East Yorkshire
- X46/X47 York Railway Station to Hull, via Pocklington (board at stop RC) East Yorkshire
In each case alight at the Waggon and Horses and cross the road by the traffic lights.

Some Key Information
- Payments: This festival is CASHLESS – all payments must be made by card or device.
- Session Times and Tickets: From Thursday to Saturday there are two sessions per day (12 noon – 5pm and 5pm -11pm). We stay open throughout, but if you have an early ticket you must leave when it expires, or upgrade to an All-Day ticket.
- Wrist bands: Always wear your wrist band – you won’t be served without a session-valid wrist band.
- Glasses: You need a glass to get served, either one you’ve brought (CE-marked and lined) or a souvenir glass (Pints or Goblets) purchased from the Glasses stand (non-refundable). If you’re coming back again, remember to bring your glass.
- Allergen info: for alcoholic drinks speak to a Bar Manager (wearing a purple festival T shirt). There are some Gluten-free, Vegetarian & Vegan options. Food vendors have food allergen info.
- Children: We welcome families in all areas. Children are admitted free but they must leave the site by 8pm.
- Dogs: We welcome well-behaved dogs on a lead in the outside areas but they are not allowed in the buildings.
- Memorial Garden: Please keep out as this is in active use.
