Sponsorship Opportunities

York branch of CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) is pleased to announce that the York Beer & Cider Festival will again take place at St. Lawrence Church, York, from Wednesday 17 to Saturday 20 September 2025.

We are expecting over 3,000 attendees and there will be over 200 different beers and ciders.  We will again be serving beer from York area and Yorkshire breweries, complemented by a wide range of the best ales and keg beers from around the UK and Europe.

We hope that you can support our festival and, by doing so, help us to promote your business. We are offering a range of sponsorship opportunities across a wide range of prices. The following sponsorship options are available on a “first come, first served” basis:

  1. Glasses – £1,500+VAT – get your logo on 2,400 Pint glasses OR 1,000 Goblets and 100 Wine glasses (up to 5 colours)– your logo will have a life well beyond the festival as people take their glasses home or to their workplaces. Up to 6 invites to the Wednesday Trade Session – each get a free glass and 4 half pint tokens.   * already taken *
  2. Beer Mats – £800+VAT10,000 beer mats with the festival logo on one side and your logo on the other, distributed to over 200 pubs across the York area to advertise the festival. Or produce yourself and feel free to increase the order for your own use.  Up to 6 invites to the Wednesday Trade Session – each get a free glass and 4 half pint tokens.   * already taken *     
  3. Advance Tickets – £800+VAT – Over 3,000 customers will see these when booking and when downloaded to phone or printed. You decide your message and logo which can include discount vouchers / QR codes. Up to 6 invites to the Wednesday Trade Session – each get a free glass and 4 half pint tokens.
  4. Volunteers and Public (“for sale”) T-shirts – £200+VAT– display your name/brand/logo on the back of over 200 festival T-shirts which will be worn by festival staff throughout the festival and on sale to the general public (up to 8 spaces altogether).  Up to 4 invites to the Wednesday Trade Session – each get 2 half pint tokens.
  5. Banners – £100+VAT– display your banner at the festival (approx. 2.5m x 0.7m; larger banners on request), subject to available spaces. You may request a preferred area for display (cask beer, cider, wine, membership, tombola, marquee, etc.). (Several available – can be paid for as 48 cans or bottles).  Up to 4 invites to the Wednesday Trade Session – each get 2 half pint tokens.
  6. Sponsor a cask – £100+VAT – get your name / logo on a cask of beer (you can choose which one when list available).  Up to 4 invites to the Wednesday Trade Session – each get 2 half pint tokens.

ALL sponsors will be listed in the festival programme provided free to customers and on a dedicated page on the Festival website. Sponsors will also be invited to our exclusive Wednesday Trade Session.
 
The festival opens with the Trade Session from 1pm onwards on Wednesday 17 September. Admission to the Trade Session is free and by invitation only – to Sponsors, Breweries, Licensees and others in the trade – but please remember to bring your ticket/s for scanning. You’re welcome to stay all day until closing time.  At 3pm the festival will open to CAMRA members, and at 5pm it will open to the public.
